Dry Needling
Dry needling is a treatment where we use a thin, sterile needle to target tight or irritated muscle tissue. The goal is to release trigger points, which are small areas of muscle that stay contracted and cause pain, stiffness, or limited movement.
When the needle is placed into the tight muscle, it helps reset the muscle’s activity. This improves blood flow, reduces tension, and decreases pain signals. Many people feel a small twitch in the muscle, followed by relief and improved mobility.
Dry needling can help with:
• Neck and back pain • Shoulder pain and rotator cuff issues • Headaches and migraines • Hip and knee pain • Sciatica • Tennis elbow and golfer’s elbow • Plantar fasciitis and foot pain • Muscle tightness from workouts or sports
It is often used alongside chiropractic care, rehabilitation exercises, mobility work, and strength training to improve long term results.
The needle does not inject medication. The effect comes from stimulating the muscle and nervous system to help your body restore normal movement and decrease pain.
